At Har Ki Pauri the evening Ganga Aarti sets the dusk alight and the river still carries the cold of the Himalaya. An hour upstream, Rishikesh hums with temple bells, ashrams and the Triveni Ghat aarti. This yatra threads both — the holy dip and the sankalp at the ghats, an ashram stay and a sunrise on the sadhana mat, ritual and retreat carried by the same river.
